ABOUT
Hello and welcome to my portfolio! I am a second-year Public Relations student at the University of Florida with a minor in Event Management, and I am very passionate about the communications industry. As the first in my family to attend college in the United States and having served as the primary communicator and translator for my family throughout my life, communication goes deeper for me than it does for most. I understand the importance of nuance and have a strong eye for cross-cultural communication. Through my portfolio, I hope to showcase my expertise in this field by highlighting my ability to drive impactful campaigns and connect with diverse audiences.
SKILLS & EXPERTISE
The ability to create has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. From ideating social media content and campaigns to developing theming and branding, creativity within the communications industry has been a constant source of motivation and fulfillment for me. As I’ve grown in this field, I’ve come to appreciate not only the opportunities it offers, but how deeply I enjoy the work itself. This passion has driven me to continuously refine my craft and expand my skill set. I bring experience in content creation, branding and theming, merchandising, digital marketing, event management, copywriting, and editing, among other areas. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
Throughout my time at the University of Florida, I have actively pursued opportunities to develop and refine my skills within the communications field. Through these experiences, I have achieved several notable accomplishments. I helped increase brand visibility for the UF chapter of Strike Magazine and played a key role in becoming the first branch to reach 10,000 Instagram followers. As a member of the Marketing and Creative Team for the Orange and Blue Film Festival, I was recognized by peers and professors as the MVP for November 2025 in recognition of my contributions to the festival’s marketing efforts. My work with Swamp Records has generated over 4,500 views and 450+ likes, demonstrating the impact of effective social media strategy in today’s digital marketplace. Additionally, I was recently promoted from Account Executive to work on a new business team for Alpha Public Relations as a way to refine the organizations recruiting efforts. My time at the University of Florida has been both rewarding and formative, and I remain committed to continuing to grow and make meaningful contributions within the communications community.
